The 180°

Life is pretty crazy sometimes.
Let me start off by telling you a little about myself (whoever you are that is reading). First and forth-most I am a mom and a wife. If you would have asked me 10 years ago if I would be a mom I am not sure I would have said yes. You see, I was always the traveler..free-spirit..the one who was going places. I wanted to be in the WNBA at one point (that tells you how crazy my dreams were HAHAHA). When I try and think back to one event in my life that changed that for me I think it is probably when I was diagnosed with RA(Rheumatoid Arthritis). I was 17. By that time I had known the love of my life (who is now my husband) for 3 years and been dating him for 1. The doctor said I would be in a wheel-chair by the time I was 30. So I guess by her opinion I only have3 years left. For a while I let that hold me back...I never made a plan thinking I wouldn't be able to finish it anyway.

I followed the "normal" path of life. Married my husband when I was 22 (because that was my number) built a house when we were 25, and had a son (the best thing EVER). This is when things change. I decided to go back to school. I wanted the best for my kiddo so I would do whatever it takes. I decided to go into radiology because I love working with people and computers. So I started school again.

Took pre-reqs for two semesters while working full time at a job that I "liked" but was getting bored at. My husband had a good job at a company that we thought "valued" him.  So after a year of thought we decided I would stay home with our son and go to school full-time because after-all I would have to quit working in the summer next year to attend radiology school which requires you to be available 9-3:30 every day. I quit my job the end of September of this year....and then WHAM..the 180° of our life....the end of October my husband was let go from his job. Don't ask me why because I am still unclear on that. I have my opinion and I am pretty sure it is a lot like this comic. My husband was loyal and dedicated but apparently a few people have two-faces. All I know is that we encourage everyone to
"Drink responsibly. Drink Coors"

Anyway...this blog is about our crazy life...and mostly my opinions (and I have A LOT)...if you don't like it...don't read it. ;) If you do...share ;)
